Kolter Solutions is seeking a Software Design Engineer 4.

Location: Orlando, FL

Job Summary: Seeking a highly motivated mid-level software engineer to implement design solutions in a rapid and agile manner and to identify, diagnose, and implement innovative solutions to solve software defects, as appropriate.

Required Skills:

Minimum 6+ years software development experience using Java, C++, Python
Strong object-oriented development background.
Familiar with industry software development standards
Experience in Linux/windows shell scripting.
Ability to test/debug software
Maintaining software using version control tools
Ability to work within a team and independently.

Knowledge in any of the following areas is considered a plus:

DevOps experience.
Knowledge of modern web-services.
Experience with Industry best-practice software development and collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
Familiarity with software development standards and with the capabilities of related Department of Defense software systems.
Knowledge of military simulation systems.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.

Other Requirements: Requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance.
