Position Title: Mendix Developer

Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer

Direct Reports: n/a

Status: Exempt – Full-time

Salary: In accordance with California law, the expected annual salary range for this California position is $70,000 - $90,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Bonus/Commission: not applicable

Essential Functions

· Design and develop web applications on Mendix platforms.

· Ability to convert business rules/requirements into application logic.

· High-qualify documentation of solutions, architectures, and diagrams.

· Root-cause analysis on application issues and design resolutions.

· Partner with key stakeholders from business teams as well as other software developers and business analysts to ensure delivery of the right solution.

· Work with a team or autonomously depending on the needs of the project.

· Disciplined in unit and system testing.

· Fast learner, ability to learn new, complex products and processes.

· Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

· BA/BS or master’s in computer science (or technical equivalent).

· 1-5 years’ of experience developing Mendix applications.

· Development and implementation experience with Microsoft SQL, Java, JavaScript, GIT/SVN is a must.

· Back-end and Front-end Development.

· Experience in design, develop, and test API’s (REST, JSON, XML).

· Mendix Rapid Developer certified.

· Experience customizing and publishing Mendix widgets is an advantage.

· Experience in Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.

· Excellent time-management skills with demonstrated ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines.

· Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office applications is needed, with particular emphasis in Excel and Word.

· Strong research and problem-solving abilities are needed, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

· At least initially, must be available to work in the office during standard business days (Monday – Friday) and normal business hours.
