We are seeking to hire a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to join our team based at our corporate headquarters located in Andover, MA, USA about 30 minutes north of Boston.

The Software Engineering Manager will impact the organization by managing a team to develop software for Casa's Network Operating System intended for use on BCOM based white box switches. This product will provide both BNG (Border Network Gateway) and MSR (Multiservice Router) functionality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the product management to ensure the software the team develops meets the expectations of our customers.
• Lead the team to deliver software on schedule in accordance with defined software development practices and procedures to ensure product meets company quality standards.
• Work in a diverse and globally distributed engineering organization.
• Recruit and manage a premier software engineering team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of software development engineering experience in the telecom network industry.
• Experience in programming BCOM DNX series switches (Qumran/Jericho) for L2/L3 packet processing.
• 3+ years experience of being a hands-on manager of software development team.
• Experience in handling field issues and helping deployments.
• Takes initiative and collaborates with other teams in multiple sites and different time zones.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment.
