SUMMARY: Lee Fish USA is a premium seafood importer, bringing in daily seafood shipments from around the world to distribute throughout North America.

Working from our headquarters in El Segundo, CA, the Sr. Financial Analyst will work with sales and operations for both businesses providing analysis on business profitability. This role will support the V.P of Finance & Accounting in accounting and financial matters required by both companies. This position will have 1 to 2 direct reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop modeling tools to support key financial metrics
• Support development of annual financial plan
• Oversees and serve as the cost accounting subject matter expert
• Supports monthly and annual close process and drive process improvements where possible
• Prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations and analysis, with a focus on inventory, to ensure accuracy in asset valuation and adequacy of reserves as needed
• Establish costing system with new ERP system and assist with the conversion process
• Execute daily/weekly/monthly trend analysis, focusing on product and customer margins
• Create and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts
• Assists with cash flow analysis, including tracking cash flow activity, preparing reports, and analyzing information for management
• Handles Commission / Sales Bonus Calculations for sales reps
• Works with GM for process / profit improvement projects
• Assists with related special projects as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Manage accounting support staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in accounting or finance or equivalent
• 5+ years related experience or equivalent in manufacturing / processing environment
• Ability to work with all levels of management
• Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to grow and evolve with role
• MBA/CMA a plus
• ERP system conversion / implementation a plus

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
