As a Business Technical Analyst (BTA) on the team, you’ll help to support multiple clients by delivering enhancements to their HR portals and troubleshooting user issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior BTAs with researching answers to client questions about Alight Worklife features and functionality and with preparing client-facing and internal team documents.
  • Prepare client-facing documents representing the features included in each product release.
  • Perform internal acceptance testing of portal changes to ensure they meet client business requirements.
  • Work with developers and testers to resolve any issues found during internal and/or client acceptance testing.
  • Perform sweep testing after client migrations scheduled by other internal workstreams.
  • Participate in portal verification testing after monthly maintenance windows, disaster recovery exercises, and patch releases.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and contribute to root cause analysis documentation.
  • Coordinate translations of client text changes into multiple languages, working with an external vendor.
  • Assist client content editors as needed—e.g., run content reports, create new population parameters, etc.
  • Create reports about client usage of the portal, leveraging Google Analytics data.
  • Review user feedback for information about issues to be fixed or potential site enhancements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a virtual, team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong client-service orientation
  • Self-starter who demonstrates discipline and motivation in all aspects of job performance
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with internal and external contacts
  • Experience working with tools to manage workflow/issue tracking (e.g., Atlassian Jira) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Alight’s proprietary tools is a plus
  • Client-facing and consultative experience is a plus
