Job Summary:

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of specific goals and work on assignments with definite outcomes and time limits that must stay within budget. The Sr. Project Manager’s duties and responsibilities include ensuring teams meet all scope requirements by completing jobs properly according to their contract or agreement with the client. The Sr. Project Manager develops and directs project management operations and strategic planning to meet organizational goals and provides overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes and tools used for effective project delivery. In addition, the Sr. Project Manager must provide concrete guidance on what everyone needs to do and the most efficient way to complete each step.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Developing and directing project management operations and strategic planning to meet organizational goals. The Director provides overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes and tools used for effective project delivery.

· Managing, mentoring, and training the Project Management team members.

· Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.

· Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

· Developing projects scopes and objectives, including all relevant stakeholders.

· Communicate, document, and archive project team activities and decisions, act as a primary contact for project team related information.

· Ensure resource availability and allocation.

· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.

· Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project cope, schedule and costs.

· Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

· Reporting and escalating to management as need.

· Managing the relationship with the client, third parties/vendors, and all stakeholders.

· Performing risk management to minimize project risks.

· Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

· Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in business or related field of study.

· Seven years of proven experience in a related field.

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

· Proven working experience as a project administrator.

· Previous management experience.

· Strong proficiency with project management practices, tools, and methodology.

· Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

· Ability to summarize complex information into simple concepts for broad communication to project teams as well as for management status reports.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders,.

· Good conflict management skills.

· Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues.

· Strong computer proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams and Zoom.

· Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

· Ability to work on tight deadlines.

· Experience as a construction project manager, IT project manager, or ERP project manager.

· Able to complete projects in a timely manner.

· Experience overseeing a construction project.

· Budget management experience.

Physical Requirements:

● Able to lift up to 50 pounds safely

Travel:

● Minimal travel required.
