Job Description:
- Develops business requirements to drive optimal operations performance through systems, planning, commercialization, customer service and distribution practices.
- Provides project management and supports key strategic initiatives that will drive increased sales and profitability. Acts as both a subject matter expert as well as a project manager for key operations projects on cross functional teams.
- Develops reports and scorecards to communicate keep business metrics and performance to Channel Development Operational Teams, Account Team and customer.
- Ensuring that the item level forecasts within our customers systems’ that drive order requirements to Starbucks are accurate.
- Accountable for building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the replenishment/inventory management teams at Walmart and Sam’s Club. Must effectively influence these individuals, gaining support for replenishment and inventory management policies that maximize product availability at store level, while minimizing inventory in the supply chain.
- Responsible for meeting customer in-stock targets at store and warehouse levels with no out-of-stock at the distribution centers. This is accomplished by proactive inventory analysis using the customers’ forecasting and inventory management systems, identification of any forecast or in-stock issues, followed by implementation of action steps to resolve them.
- Point person for operational execution of all modular changes, working jointly with the customer replenishment team. Creates execution plan and coordinates internally with account team, demand planning, operations planning, and category leadership to ensure a seamless transition to the new modular.
- Responsible for all customers forecasting an inventory replenishment activities including: CPFR events to support promotional and seasonal activity, ensure numerous customer item settings are properly maintained to ensure appropriate store level product replenishment, recommend CPFR policies to customer replenishment and inventory management teams, utilize customer forecasting data to provide analytical support to Team (Account Managers, Category Leadership Managers), effectively leverage customer forecasting systems reporting capabilities.
Summary of Experience Years:
- Minimum 5 years of experience of performing analytics and problem-solving in a fast paced environment
- Minimum 4 years of experience with performance metrics development and root cause analysis
- Minimum 4 years of experience conducting data collection, reporting, and analysis
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and cross functional team leadership
- Minimum 2 years of experience process mapping and redesign
- This is a Hybrid role based in Rogers, Arkansas
