Job Description :

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, assisting with internal audits, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with GAAP
  • Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Assist with fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
  • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
  • Help resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Process bi-monthly customer billing statements
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
