Staff Accountant Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday)

• This position will report to the Director of Operations and be key player in improving finance function.
• Accounts Receivable – Collection efforts by email and call
• Daily Sales Invoicing
• Post incoming payments
• Review General Ledger Accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Process all Accounts Payable, reviewing, and reconciling invoices using 3-way match to properly match invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing. • Responsible for fixed asset and intangibles reporting including recording acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and amortization.

• Maintain support schedules.
• Posting and reconciling Monthly, Quarterly and Annual accruals.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
• Process new customer credit applications and assists with suggesting and assigning credit limits.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5-7 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Accounting software programs and experience with QuickBooks Enterprise. Sage 100 and Oracle Fusion a plus.
• Advanced experience in GL, month-end and year-end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales invoicing and reconciling accounts and statements
