Rozier, McKay, & Willis CPAS is looking for a full-time staff accountant to participate in tax planning and preparation for our diverse client base. In addition, we are looking for individuals to work closely with attestation clients, and assist with the performance of audits, reviews, and compilations for governmental units and private companies.

We are looking for qualified applicants that demonstrate the following:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
• Ability to work accurately and quickly in a fast paced, high compliance environment
• Ability to perform accounting duties of an above average difficulty
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must have strong computer and analytical skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of business information

Related Key Qualifications.

• Comprehension of partnership, corporate, and individual tax matters
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Solid Excel proficiency
• Experience with QuickBooks is desirable
• Trust Accounting experience a plus but not required
• Assist with special projects, depending on needs of senior accountant and fellow staff accountants

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is highly desirable
• 2 years of accounting experience-public accounting experience is desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
