ConnShaffer Consulting Engineers (CSE) is hiring a Structural Engineering Manager to join our team of structural engineers and provide technical expertise and quality assurance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys doing quality assurance, building processes, and seeking ways to improve the overall quality of our organization. If you enjoy improving and standardizing engineering and drafting quality and want to come into an organization and implement high standards across our company, this is role is likely perfect for you.

In addition to quality assurance, our ideal candidate enjoys spending time on active structural design projects of various building types. Top candidates for this position understand the principles of project management and can utilize their experience in schematic design and detailed designs for multiple building types to provide positive client interactions while meeting project deliverables, deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.

This role will include developing and presenting in-house monthly seminars on company specific issues, so experience in conducting these types of seminars would be a plus.

Qualifications:

• You have 7-10 (or more) years of structural engineering expertise that you can bring to our team.
• You have experience working with and an understanding of concrete, steel, masonry, wood, pre-cast concrete, cold formed metal, and concrete restoration.
• You are a P.E. licensed professional with a bachelor’s degree.
• Having a S.E. license and a master’s degree is a plus.
• You are a technically savvy individual with experience in a wide variety of computer systems including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Ram Structural System, Ram Elements, Bluebeam, and video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Zoom.
• You live within commuting distance of Malvern, PA (or are open to relocating to the area)
