JOB DESCRIPTION

Shoemaker & Haaland is currently seeking to hire a full time Structural Revit Designer.
Applicants must have completed or be on pace to graduate in May 2023 with an Associate of Arts from an accredited Architectural/Engineering Technology or Construction Management program with Revit coursework or have 1 or more years of experience in structural modeling; be proficient in Revit Structure and BIM; must be technically competent in all aspects of structural drafting; and be able to successfully coordinate with clients, engineers and other disciplines to check completeness and quality of structural drawings. The ideal candidate would be highly self-motivated, works well with others; and demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills.

The job responsibilities include: produce structural drawings of various complexities using Revit Structure while implementing 3D laser scans, field measurements, historical data and engineering redlines

Some of the types of work a Revit Designer at Shoemaker & Haaland could work on include steel and masonry industrial buildings, complex cast in place concrete foundations/walls, wood framed commercial and multipurpose complexes, residential buildings and historical retrofits.
