The Information Systems Administrator (ISA) reports directly to and is under the direct supervision of the IS Manager. The ISA will administer and support server and network systems, hardware, operating systems and application software. The ISA will align with the IT objectives towards the delivery of effective IT solutions, systems security, reliability and performance. The ISA will adhere to and promote compliance with the organization’s information systems policies and procedures. The ISA will rely on instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the position.

The Information Systems Administrator is responsible for performing the following duties:

• Administers and supports workstation and server hardware, operating system software, application and office productivity software and network resources
• Administers data backup
• Troubleshoots and recovers PC workstation, server and network functionality
• Supports patient processing, clinical tracking and reporting activities
• Ensures proper and timely communication and resolution of systems issues
• Trains employees on systems use, proper access to corporate network and available resources, use of office software tools and use of business software
• Interacts in a professional manner and works collaboratively with Clinicas’ staff and patients
• Travels to health centers and Clinicas’ administrative offices to provide technical support to employees
• Performs other duties as assigned including participation in all safety programs, which may include assignment to an emergency response team
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent of four years’ work experience preferred.
• Minimum four years’ work experience as a systems administrator in a similar IT setting.
• Work experience installing, administering and supporting Microsoft Windows desktop OS, Windows Server OS, Exchange, and Active Directory.
• Work experience installing, administering and supporting Citrix Workspace and App delivery
• Work experience administering and supporting
• VMware vSphere and server virtualization
• Work experience installing, administering and supporting Cisco or Dell networking technology
• Solid organizational, communication, interpersonal skills, and work ethics
• Ability to function in a team-oriented environment; show sensitivity to others; demonstrate excellent judgment
• Ability to conceptualize, launch and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to be a self-motivated, high performance contributor
• Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping management informed of project related issues.
• Able to work well with people from all levels within organization.
• Ability to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs

• Must have valid California Driver’s License with clean record.

Levels are determined by the individual’s job experience and performance; level, scope and complexity of duties assigned and overall knowledge to the extent that the individual works with minimal supervision.
