Job Description :

We are looking for a Systems Administrator who can plan the future growth and expansion of our computing infrastructure. The Systems Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining our current systems. The ideal candidate for this position will have working knowledge of Cisco Networking, Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Azure AD and other computing platforms.

Role:

To keep the network computing systems operating efficiently and assure that computing standards are implemented and enforced; to extend IT support services to staff and clients.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Installs, supports, and manages the hardware/software/network components; responds to and develops solutions for component failures and complex technical problems in all of these areas to deliver a sound and stable computing infrastructure.

Ensures that IT standards for control, security, and recoverability are understood and followed; coordinates with other IT technical support staff to assure that appropriate ITcomputing standards are implemented and maintained; manages software upgrades to ensure compliance with standards and control procedures.

Organizes directories, files, and disks; sets up and maintains users and user access; manages files; allocates disk space; backs up the network; monitors network performance; troubleshoots problems; maintains network security; peforms hardware repairs and upgrades; works with IT Officer and IT Manager to test and implement disaster recovery.

Assesses software and hardware products; optimizes network performance; and expands network capabilities.

Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs; communicates with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems; consults with department managers to develop systems solutions consistent with organizational objectives.

To complete required training and undertake additional training as needed to increase job knowledge and maximize productivity.

To provide training, development, support and leadership for all direct reports. To complete performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.

11.

To acquire and maintain a working knowledge of regulations and bank procedures; to comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and other laws and regulations.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience

Five years to Seven years similar or related experience.

Education

(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills

Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills

1. Experience in PC usage and hardware/software support.
2. OS/2, Windows XP and Windows NT experience a plus.
3. Proficiency with networking software.
4. Ability to diagnose problems over a WAN in remote locations.
5. Must be able to install, troubleshoot, and support personal computers, Microsoft operating systems, network and data communications software and hardware and be familiar with basic programming logic, processing concepts and terminology, and processing rigors.

Physical Requirements

Must to able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina. Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the branches/offices and lab, including under the workstations.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and may require travel to branches and other office buildings. This role routinely works around moving equipment and is in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
