Tidal Wave is seeking an experienced Point-of-Sale analyst with a proven history of managing POS implementations, configuration and support. The POS analyst will work directly with the Site Operations Team and POS Vendors to define requirement for enhancements and ongoing support. Duties & Responsibilities:

· As the Lead Analyst for Point-of-Sale systems you will liaise extensively between external and internal clients

· The POS Systems Support Analyst’s role is to provide end user support to POS users, including troubleshooting system failures and providing instruction on application usage to accomplish business tasks

· Coordinate site openings and remodels with Construction department resources to ensure minimal impact to Tidal Wave systems and operations

· Apply business knowledge and technical skills to successfully deliver Point of Sale solutions that help facilitate business operations

· Guide beginning-to-end Point of Sale projects including analysis, design, development, and support

· Leading all Point-of-Sale initiatives, including planned POS upgrades.

· Develop in depth knowledge current and planned POS systems including data setup, configuration and support.

· Demonstrate the passion and desire to build a capability from the ground up

· Engage and guide business users to identify and define requirements necessary to support ongoing operations.

· Translate understanding of business requirements into technical requirements and solutions.

· Work closely with POS vendors

· Be accountable for system and process improvements

· Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems

· Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved

· Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

· Associates degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field preferred.

· 2+ years of knowledge and experience with enterprise Point of Sale Systems

· 2+ of knowledge and experience with DRB Systems Point of Sale preferred

· Basic knowledge and experience with SQL

· Hands-on experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including MS Office, Visio, Project, SharePoint, etc

· Ability to manage multiple initiatives/tasks simultaneously

· Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team

· Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

· In-depth knowledge of Windows and Windows Server operating systems

· Ability to adapt to new technology

· Strong analytical capabilities

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Self-starter

· Intellectual curiosity

· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Basic knowledge of networking principles including protocols, diagnostic tools and command line utilities (ping, tracert, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
