Job Overview
Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Louisville, KY

LightChange Technologies, a solutions integrator and managed service provider, is looking to fill an open Systems Engineer position to a qualified applicant. Applicants must be able to work efficiently in team and self-governed environments, work in a customer facing role with the Business Development team, architect/implement solutions to resolve issues with, improve upon, or scale network infrastructures.

Experience

Qualified applicants should have at least five years of recent experience working in and supporting a variety of Microsoft infrastructures, including a variety of the following: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Replication, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Exchange, SharePoint, Office/Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune (Endpoint), Modern Desktop Management, Autopilot, Security & Compliance (Classification, Labeling, Data Loss Prevention, Data Governance), Azure, Virtualization (Hyper-V) and Desktop Management. In addition to a solid Microsoft skill set, additional experience with VMware, AWS, storage, or networking is a huge plus. All candidates must have a desire to pursue cybersecurity aspects of all technologies they operate.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with customers.
• Ability to take the lead on customer initiatives.
• Ability to take the lead on LightChange internal initiatives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a wide range of technologies.
• Four to six years of Microsoft or other systems/networking experience.
• Experience with server hardware, software, RAID technology and server topologies
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies.
• Actively working on continued certifications/education.

Certifications and Education

Active certifications preferred. Although Microsoft certifications are preferred, others are welcome. This opportunity requires consistent, ongoing study and certifications.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
