We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our in-house tax preparation team. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and writing skills and a sound understanding of both federal and state tax codes. The right candidate will be energetic, well-organized, detail oriented and a self-starter. Financial planning, budgeting, and insurance functions are also a part of this position, so we're interested in hiring an individual who can quickly grasp a variety of financial topics as well as utilize their creativity to resolve unforeseen issues.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns for clients.
• Review tax laws and regulations to make sure that returns are filed correctly.
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for a business or individual.
• Be familiar with tax filing software such as TurboTax and Tax Act.
• Manage accounts for several clients.
• Prepare new tax laws to the IRS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
