Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Learn about the types of tools sold by Chardon tool; and the application of these tools by our customers. Participate in customer meetings by telephone to assist with design; and to assure manufacturability.
Technical expertise that would allow you to provide customers with problem solving skills, the ability to design and engineer new tools or evaluate and improve existing designs or tools.
Fully understand machine and equipment capabilities. Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to determine how all available capabilities can be utilized to reduce cost, improve customer service (on-time delivery), and achieve quality objectives.
Use Solid Works to create 3D models and 2D prints for cutting tool designs and costing.
Utilize SalesForce.com to prepare and send quotations to customers and to follow up and maintain customer relations.
Order entry using E2 shop ERP system
Travel to customer locations, estimated 20% domestic and 5% abroad, to learn about and provide insights in the application of our tools. (current circumstances may not allow for travel to customer locations)
Attend trade shows to represent Chardon Tool. Organize and prepare all materials and planning for the shows.

Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in a technical or business field. Engineering would be a plus.
Experience calling on potential customers and developing customer relationships
Outgoing, Proactive personality
Experience with cutting tools, machining, or high precision components
Geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T)
E2 shop or similar ERP system
Solid Works CAD at an Introductory or higher level
Proficient in Microsoft office
Mechanical aptitude and Problem solving skills
Communication skills and a team oriented approach
Ability to travel both domestic and abroad
