Summary:

We are currently seeking 2 candidates as Software Support Specialists to join our dynamic and growing team. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support position in a help desk environment or level 2 and beyond supporting software products in a technical capacity. The primary responsibilities will be to answer support calls and emails, triage, analyze, reproduce the issue, enter support tickets, escalate, and follow through to resolution. Depending on interests, experiences, and skill set, additional opportunities include systems administration, database coding in T-SQL, database administration in Microsoft SQL Server, Power Shell scripting, installations and upgrades, help documentation, virtual server and hardware administration, software usability, testing, design, maintenance, and interfacing with the QA department.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills with professional email and telephone etiquette
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Windows both server and desktop
• Experience with Help Desk Ticketing Systems
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and a self-starter
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Experience with Software QA Testing and processes a big plus
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and query writing a big plus
• Experience with .Net applications and web app programming a plus
• Experience with Power Shell scripting a plus

Physical Demands:

• Frequently sits
• Frequent and regular use of a computer in an office setting
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs
• Able to walk and up down 30 stairs, multiple times daily
