Salary: $70k - 90k per year + bonus

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, has an opening for an experienced Test Development Engineer to join their expert team located in Alburtis, PA. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high quality and robustness of products in manufacturing through either Structural or Functional testing. Responsibilities:

• Providing input on the initial design and development of product test solutions
• Involvement in all areas of the test development release process, from specification to installation support for manufacturing
• Debugging solutions using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
• Implementing production test systems in a manner that optimizes throughput, repeatability, and reliability while minimizing cost and growing capacity
• Leading productivity projects and driving improvement across the team
• Collaborating with experienced engineering teams to review and provide input on development designs
• Applying a continuous improvement mindset to all aspects of the development process and operation support

Skills:

• Electronics manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of IT platforms, databases, and programming languages appropriate to the area
• Experience in engineering development and manufacturing operations support
• Experience with Cellular Communications (4G-LTE and 5G)
• Knowledge of Optical Communication technologies and concepts
• Some hardware development, integration, and qualification experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Applied Science or Engineering in Computer, Electrical, Software, or Computer Science
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Development Testing role
• Knowledge of RF technologies and concepts (Wi-Fi Test development)
• Experience with testing software, processes, and methodologies, as well as failure analysis
• 2+ years of software development experience with National Instruments LabView, C#, C++, or Python
