Job Description :

The Tooling Project Engineer is responsible for obtaining costs/quotes for EVCO tooling projects and manage their progress start to finish and to follow procedures and embrace new technologies.

Qualifications:

Required:

· Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization

· Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· 5-10 years experience as a mold maker and/or mold design engineer

· Proficiency in working with CAD systems and computers

· Ability to read blueprints

· Analytical skills and mechanical aptitude

· Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude

· Organizational skills and maintain good attendance

Preferred:

Journeyman mold maker

Responsibilities:

· Treat all internal and external contacts with uncompromising respect and integrity under all circumstances.

· Assist in the design of plastic injection molds and related tooling.

· Obtain quotations for construction of tooling.

· Assist EVCO customers with plastics part design for moldability.

· Manage the process of EVCO mold making projects and communicate with the customers.

· Follow company safety procedures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of others.

· Attend team meetings to promote team building.

· General housekeeping to keep the work area and plant clean.

· Perform other duties as assigned.
