Wilsites Trucklines is looking for an outgoing organized hardworking individual
to become our next transportation manager to lead our florida market.

This postion will be overseeing the day to day operation at 4 of our locations across the florida market including Winter Garden, Tavares, Sanford and Winter Haven This positions requires overseeing that our fleet is up to date on all maintnence and dot requirement. You will be working close with 84 lumber management an our team to be sure that we are providing an exellent hauling service. Jobsite inspection covering vacations, keeping a worklog of all the drivers and handling day to day issues.

• Transport finished goods from distribution center to job sites using Moffett forklift, or Roll-Off trailer.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver and proven history of reliability.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid class A license and DOT card

Salary: $60,00.00 - $80,000.00 per year
