HOERBIGER Corporation of America (HCA) is looking for a Warehouse Operator on 2nd Shift for our manufacturing facility in Pompano Beach. This position supports production by receiving stock and allocating materials to internal departments as requested in Work Orders. The position ensures that internal customers have the accurate items, in the correct quantity, delivered in the specified location at the time/date indicated.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Properly count and receive product, comparing packing list to purchase orders, ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list
• Stock and label all product
• Identify missing, lost or damaged materials
• Pick, prepare and process of work orders for internal departments such as production and assembly
• Update product availability in SAP inventory management module
• Perform physical inventory counts

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with email. Experience with SAP or inventory management software is preferred.
• Forklift license is preferred – must be able to certify within first (6) months of hire
• Must have full proficiency of English language (read, write, converse); must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills. Ability to convert between metric and imperial measurement systems. Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16”.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, hear, speak, view processes and surrounding environment. Must be able to stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift. Must be able to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls. See details of objects, read labels. Ability to lift repeatedly throughout shift and carry loads up to 50 pounds.
