Position Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, test and implement new technologies for Uline's warehouses.

• Educate operational leaders how technology works, can be applied and fits into Uline's operations.

• Build relationships with existing vendors, competing vendors and peer companies focusing on new technology.

• Attend trade conferences, conduct vendor visits and webinars to stay on top of latest technology.

• Define the scope to evaluate technology in Uline distribution centers and warehouses.

• Work with vendors to conduct pilot tests on a limited scale before large-scale investment.

• Develop estimates and build business cases to implement.

• Adapt technology based upon the lessons learned in pilot.

• Oversee projects to their successful completion.

• Conduct site visits to locations where technology is implemented.

• Negotiate contracts with vendors.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 10+ years experience in warehousing and safety.

• Travel to Uline's branch and international locations, trade shows and vendor visits as needed.
