Our customers include meat, milk and egg producers as well as those with specialty and companion animals. Our goal is to provide customers with products and solutions that will improve their profitability and competitive advantage, while reducing risk and simplifying their lives. We currently have an established sales territory available in the Beloit, KS region and are seeking qualified candidates for an Account Manager position.
This position will facilitate the sale of products through established dealer networks and producers.
Primary Duties:
· Develop and implement action plans and strategies to achieve growth in market share
· Facilitate feeder meetings and assist with promotional or new product launches
· Grow existing customer base and prospect new accounts
· Participate in the development of the annual business plan that supports corporate wide initiatives
· Develop and follow up customer leads and review sales approach with manager to ensure proper positioning of all product lines
· Utilize company resources and engage the assistance of field technical support staff and sales specialists to meet the needs of our customers
· Manage expenses within established budget levels and ensure timely filing of expenses
Account Managers have the support and assistance of the Regional Sales Manager and Specie Specialists to assist in the sales process and service after the sale.
Requirements:
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Animal Nutrition sales
· A solid understanding of all aspects related to livestock production/nutrition
· A valid driver’s license
· Exceptional time management skills
· Problem solving skills
· Leadership skills
· Overnight travel is required on an occasional basis
