Job title: Air/Ocean Export Coordinator, Air Import Coordinator and Accounts Receivable

Summary:

JIT USA Logistics Corp is hiring to fill full time coordinator positions in Air Export, Air Import and Ocean Export as well as Accounts Receivable. The import and export coordinator positions will be responsible for managing and operating the shipment lifecycle for their assigned accounts. They will be the key customer contact and an expert in ensuring all request and customer requirements are met and answered accurately and timely. They will be accountable for executing and overseeing tasks for each shipment in addition to daily communication, reporting, and email management. The Accounts Receivable Clerk, is a full time position responsible for collecting payments for the company using skills in project management, organization and communications to collect the payments from clients and customers.

Air and Ocean Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Maintain Operational Excellence
• Promote a positive working relationship for all team members
• Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping
• Apply industry knowledge and critical-thinking to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally
• Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with Customers, Agents, and Outside Vendors
• Execute/Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: processing pre-alerts, delivery of freight, governmental filings, etc.
• Collaborate, develop, and build relationships with international transportation carriers and agent representatives regarding air, ocean, import, and export products
• Timely preparation of rates and quotes for customers and overseas agents
• Coordinate the routing of export bookings with ocean carriers
• Prepare all necessary shipping documentation related to international bookings and process all export documentation to clearing agents to include: (HAWB's, MAWB's, AES's, Manifest, Shipping Instructions, Haz Cargo Decl., Bill of Ladings, and Certificate of Origin, etc.)
• Dispatch pick-ups to authorized agents and drayage companies, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, clearing agents, warehouses, and all other parties involved in the shipment

Air and Ocean Coordinator Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in international freight forwarding is preferred
• College Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• English is the principal language for this position. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese language is a plus.
• Qualified applicants must currently possess legal authorization to work in the United States

Account Receivable Responsibilities:

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
• Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.

Work Hours and Environment:

Normal working hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, however, overtime may be required periodically.
