The Assistant Controller is a member of the Accounting department leadership team with direct tax, inventory, costing and accounts receivable responsibility. The Assistant Controller also supports other areas of the department including AP, payroll general accounting and reporting, as well as Branch office administration. • Lead and manage Tax, Cost Accounting, Inventory, and Accounts Receivable functions, and provide support to all other accounting functions and Branch office administration
• Hands on in the production of financial reports and metrics on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
• Provide insight and analysis to the executive team on a variety of corporate initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field
• CPA required
• Public Accounting Experience preferred
• Construction industry and multi-location experience preferred
• 3 or more years’ experience as an Assistant Controller or equivalent level
• Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics and Microsoft Excel a plus
• Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness are of the utmost importance
• Strong analytical, organizational, financial and reporting skill
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced / demanding environment
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented, hard-working, motivated self-starter
• Pre-Employment Drug Screen, Credit and Background checks are required

Compensation is $85,000-$105,000 depending on experience.
