The Boeing Company is looking for an AvionX Product Line Program Manager to join our team in one of the following locations: Everett or Seattle, Washington, Plano, Texas, Cincinnati , Ohio, Mesa, Arizona, or St. Louis City, Missouri .

This role will report to the Senior Manager responsible for the safe, innovative, and efficient execution of Cabin Systems products under the AvionX Cabin Systems group. This position requires a professional with leadership experience who is familiar with Avionics systems and has a strong understanding of the hardware and software development lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support Avionics Aircraft Interface Devices under the AvionX, Cabin Systems Products Group.

Coordinate and work with multi-skilled teams in developing and integrating Avionics Hardware, Firmware, and Software to achieve first-time quality and delivery through end-to-end integration of hardware and software design, testing, verification, and validation

Coordinate overall program execution & performance to plan at Tier 1 level

Coordinate development of detailed WBS and schedule

Maintain budget and schedule performance (EVM)

Manage RIOs at the program level (BORIS)

Drive strategic direction and deliverables

Create communication material and content for organizational reviews

Develop and maintain relationships between customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

Coordinate oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, as well as cost and schedule performance

Support the Senior Program Management in the management of Cabin Systems product lines in accordance with Boeing Behaviors and Program Management Best Practices

Implement efficiencies to meet product line cost targets while driving first-time quality

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business or technical field

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Experience with Risk Management and Mitigation (BORIS)

5+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry

Able to travel 50%-75% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience

Engineering degree and Masters in Business Administration

Experience with Control Account Management (CAM)

Previous Experience in Avionics Aircraft Interface Device products

Strong interpersonal skill s

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new software

Knowledge of FAA and other airworthiness regulatory requirements a plus

Requirements Management experience

Strong Continuous Improvement skills and customer focus

Knowledge and/or Experience in Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)

Experience dealing with software and hardware development projects

Summary pay range: $138,550 - $187, 450
