Job description for BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA)
Melmed Center is looking for a fulltime Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to join our ABA program. Our unique setting provides you with the opportunity to work with an inter-disciplinary team of developmental pediatricians, psychologists, nurse practitioners and BCBAs to provide synergistic treatment for children diagnosed with autism.
The BCBA is responsible for developing in-home, community and school programing, implementing parent training, and supervising RBTs to ensure that treatment plans are meeting fidelity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform formal assessments (FBAs, Vineland III, ABLLS, VB-MAPP, Essential for Living)
· Develop and oversee treatment programs including skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans
· Write initial treatment plans and progress reports
· Supervise and evaluate RBT performance
· Train parents, teachers, and direct therapists on implementation of behavior plans
· Conduct regularly scheduled parent training
· Analyze data and implement appropriate modifications
· Present on topics of interest and conduct trainings
· Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients on occasion
· Maintain confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and policies including HIPPA laws and regulations
REQUIREMENTS
· Possess and maintain Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentialing and AZ State Licensing
· 1-2 years of clinical experience in the field of ABA as a licensed BCBA
· Strong verbal, written and communication skills
· Strong work ethic with the ability to meet scheduling commitments
· First Aid/CPR training required, must pass a background check
