Job Title: Rehab Specialists Bookkeeper

Job Description

General Function

Responsible for all bookkeeping functions associated with rehab vendor accounts payable and reconciling all payables to job budgets.

Essential Functions

General

• The bookkeeper is responsible for coding all invoices to established job budgets
• Must reconcile all vendor statement to invoices in Yardi, and rectify missing invoices
• Match purchase orders to invoices in Yardi
• To work directly with Freeman Webb staff accountants regarding check disbursements to vendors and draw disbursements
• Reconciliation of American Express statements for department
• Cover the reception desk for 1 hour each week
• Other Rehab duties within the department as assigned by the Executive Assistant
• Special assignments as assigned by the Vice President

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an associates degree in accounting, or 5 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of Yardi, Microsoft Office, and Teams
• Must be detail oriented and communicate effectively
• Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision
• Must understand basic accounting principles
• Previous experience working with vendors, payments, and construction draws is beneficial
• Previous experience working with budgets and coding invoices is beneficial
