Business Development Executive

JRealty provides full-service property management and other real estate services throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The owners have decided that 2023 is the year to rapidly accelerate the scaling of the business.

Job Summary

After a 6 month ramp up period, the Business Development Executive, from their own actions, is directly responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing between 40 and 60 new residential units, per month, of high quality property management business for JRealty to service.

Job Duties

  • Attend in person and online networking and relationship building events with real estate agents, brokers, property owners, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Post many times per week on blogging, v-logging, and active social media presence to demonstrate self as expert in the industry
  • In office-to-in-field work ratio approximately 50/50. Expecting about 5 on-site meetings with people, groups, brokers, special events per week
  • Attending industry events, conferences, trade-shows, meetups, to build brand awareness and make new business contacts
  • Develop and implement cost effective marketing and sales strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active California Licensed Real Estate Agent, transfer license to JRealty brokerage
  • Solid understanding of the California residential property management industry
  • Proven track record of sales and marketing
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team environment

Compensation

  • Total compensation = salary + commission. Annual targets for total compensation targets expected around: Year 1: $100k, Year 2: $150kYear 3: $185kYear 4: $250kYear 5: $300k
  • Salary: $70k per year
  • Commission: while current employee, based on percent of property management fee, per account, per schedule: 10% for the first 12 months, 5% for the next 3 years, and then 1% after that
