Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Becoming an integral member of Plante Moran’s growing IT M&A practice area by working alongside experienced practitioners and leveraging refined and proprietary methodologies and tools.
  • Performing IT due diligence activities on behalf of private equity clients and strategic corporate buyers as they evaluate potential acquisitions in manufacturing, distribution, and service industries.
  • Creating IT scorecards, best practice analyses, risk assessments, financial summaries, and overall recommendations.
  • Analyzing complex merger integration and carve-out separation scenarios including providing feedback on and developing transition service agreements and transition workplans.
  • Translating technical observations into practical, actionable, and readily understandable updates and plans for client sponsors.
  • Providing advisory and/or management support to execute improvement recommendations or related services following deal close.
  • Supporting business development activities including networking, developing proposals, and participating in presentations to prospective clients.


The qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline, information technology or related area is required.
  • 3-6 years of recent or current technology analysis or support experience is required with strong preference towards relevant M&A exposure; management consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Strong interest in broad range of technologies and best practices such as system architecture, system administration, cloud services, enterprise applications, emerging technologies and more.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience ranging from technical professionals to C-level executives/leaders.
  • Business acumen, including understanding a client’s pain points and how a variety of technologies can be leveraged to solve them.
  • Ability to efficiently multitask amongst multiple client and internal projects.
  • Project management competencies with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Depending on client requirements and phasing of projects, minimal to frequent travel may be required on a month-to-month basis.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

$9,000.00 to $12,166.67
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
