The current scope of the position, which may be changed from time to time at the sole discretion of the CEO or the Board of Directors, will generally include the following duties:

Accounting & Reporting:

· Responsible for accounting, financial reporting and analysis; profitability, and business analytics.

· Responsible for the prudent financial management of the Bank.

· Create and manage an expense management program.

· Direct all financial activities such as accounting, budgeting, financial planning, and tax preparation.

· Prepare, present, and interpret the major financial reports for executive management, directors, shareholders, and government agencies.

· Manage all accounting, finance, and treasury staff.

Finance, Treasury & ALCO:

· Execute enterprise-wide strategic financial initiatives.

· Facilitate operational excellence in finance, accounting, and treasury.

· Full responsible for annual and revised budgeting, as well as long-term forecast.

· Manage wholesale deposit operations.

· Manage the investment portfolio and develop the investment strategy.

· Full responsibility for ALM and modeling, as well as ALM reporting.

· Act as liaison with correspondent banks, Pacific Coast Bankers’ Bank, Federal Reserve Bank, Federal Home Loan Bank, and other related depositories and outside transfer agents.

General:

· Identify new and emerging risks while continuing to leverage opportunities.

· Assume responsibility for developing and implementing policies, process maps, and procedures relative to all major financial management functions of the Bank.

· Assume responsibility and the duties of Corporate Secretary and shareholder administration.

· Executive team member to help grow revenue.

· Ensure compliance with bank-wide operating policies, procedures, strategic objectives, and goals.

· Understand and be aware of the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy and adhere to its guidelines within the Bank

· Ensure compliance with all other bank industry and other governing authority regulations.

· Serve on various Board and Management Committees.

· Ensure satisfactory ratings for all external audits under CFO responsibility.

· Responsible for bank-wide certification of bank general ledger accounts.

· Responsible for the Bank’s Internal Audit risk assessment and coordinating the internal audit engagement and schedule.

· Responsible for the Bank’s information security program and performing the responsibility as the Information Security Officer

· Work on special projects as needed.

· Other Ad hoc functions and projects as identified by CEO and/or his designate.

Key competencies include:

· At least 5 years experience as Bank or Credit Union CFO.

· Strong analytical, computer, data, and systems integration skills.

· Undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting, business, or finance. CPA or MBA will be an added advantage.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
