Posting Summary
Provide administrative support to the department of Center of Health and Wellbeing (CHWB) and Business Manager. Organize departmental events. Assist search committees with candidate travel and other arrangements. Work with UVM offices and the Administrative Business Services Center (ABSC) to process financial transactions. Coordinate with the Business Manager to create and process contracts for various vendors for services provided to CHWB. Process and track professional development opportunities. Assist with Center Communications and support VPDOS programs. Function at a high level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with CHWB personnel information. Responsible for promoting a safe Center for Health and Wellbeing for students and staff of all races, ethnicity, religious, national origins, gender sexual orientations, disabilities and ages. Responsible for supporting the mission and philosophy of the CHWB, Division of Student and Campus Life and the University of Vermont.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate’s degree with one to three years of related experience. Effective public relations and communication skills. Strong planning and organizational skills; attention to detail with high level accuracy; ability to prioritize effectively. Ability to maintain medical and workplace confidentiality. Ability to remain composed, and work collaboratively in a demanding setting. Strong computer skills with 1-2 years’ experience with excel and word processing system. Ability to interact in an inclusive manner with a diverse population and demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.

Desirable Qualifications
Proficient in a Windows environment using Microsoft Office desirable.
