Primary responsibilities include:

• Project survey, site review, long-range planning, create maps and other data to design new projects
• Customer relations throughout the life of the project
• Manage project schedules and priority list for assigned tasks
• Consider budget, regulations and environmental hazards during risk-analysis stage
• Prepare engineers cost estimate for material, equipment and labor to complete the project
• Forecast design and construction timelines
• Complete and submit all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the life of the project
• Provide construction support and quality assurance
• Oversee soil testing to ensure compliance with construction specifications
• Use design software to create project drawings

Qualifications, skills, and abilities:

• Professional Engineering (PE) license (preferred)

• Ability and desire to problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong desire for continuous learning and personal growth
• Familiar with survey equipment and practices preferred
• Agriculture experience preferred but not required
