Western National is looking for a self-motivated, engaging, and collaborative individual to join our team as an Integrations Developer II. The individual in this role will have the opportunity to impact organizational initiatives through collaborative implementation, coding, programming, testing, and deploying mixed impact software application modifications.

The candidate would ideally have experience in analyzing, designing, and developing in a DevOps environment. The targeted hiring range is: $85,140-$104,060 annually; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates outside of the range listed above are encouraged to apply and will be considered based upon their individual qualifications and/or may be considered for other positions
.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates in troubleshooting application issues within the Agile\Scrum, technical and business teams.
  • Participates in work refinement, estimation processes with the product team.
  • Prepares and executes unit testing on new and modified code per team/organization standards.
  • Works with the product and change control teams to ensure quality deliveries.
  • Creates and maintains documentation in Confluence, as defined by the product team or company.
  • Ensures timely delivery of projects and tasks, communicating delays and roadblocks.
  • Flexes to non-core responsibilities as needed to ensure timely work delivery to the customer.
  • Collaborates with product team to develop, test, and deploy application modifications of mixed impact and risk based on collaboratively defined requirements.
  • Prepares technical specifications, flow charts, and data flow diagrams to effectively communicate less complicated application design, delivery, and updates.
  • Solicits and performs code review per team/product/organization standards.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve application and business process efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Contributes to resolving problems and/or improving processes at the product team level.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required, relevant post-secondary education or equivalent training and experience desirable.
  • Intermediate skills with Spring and Java.
  • Experience supporting or creating microservices a plus.
  • Experience or interest in Docker, and Kafka.
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge and application of relevant project methodologies at product team level.
  • Working/functional knowledge and use of various core systems.
  • Intermediate level effectiveness in required computer languages.
  • Intermediate level effectiveness with required code versioning and deployment software/tools.
  • Exposure to and fundamental knowledge of multiple technology stacks and frameworks.
  • Good mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills with ability to accomplish multiple within specified timeframes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with all product team members.
