Job Title: Digital Design for Aerospace Engineering Intern

Responsibilities of the role include:

· Participate in digital design activities for the development of aerospace and outer space applications.

· Utilize design, simulation, and modeling software to assist other team members in the development of aerospace and outer space components.

· Assist in the identification of needs, development of capabilities and implementation of robotic systems capable of performing in outer space applications.

About our ideal candidate:

· Ability to work remotely in a collaborative environment.

· Strong background in design software utilization, such as Siemens NX and Dassault SolidWorks.

· Proficient in programming languages, such as Python.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Skilled in Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Previous experience in aerospace and/or outer space design projects.

· Undergraduate student in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent course of study.

Work Location:

· During the school year work will be performed remotely.

· During summer break work will be performed onsite at the University of Texas El Paso Aerospace Center.

Anticipated Duration of Internship:

· Anticipated start in March 2023

· Anticipated completion March 2025
