WE LOVE OUR WORK.:
- Supervises team members in the maintenance and repair of the property, including utilities and equipment.

Provides purchasing approval on a daily and ongoing basis.

Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of senior management of Cactus Petes as well as senior management of corporate.

Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
-
Supervise, prioritize, and coordinate the engineers activities engaged in maintaining and repairing the buildings, grounds, mechanical equipment and systems.
-
Supervise the completion of work orders, daily, monthly, quarterly and other required reports in a comprehensive and timely manner.

Perform routine maintenance on boiler, chiller, and other HVAC systems utilizing the computer-automated controls.

Supervise the work of vendors and contractors.

Complete requisitions and approvals for purchase of supplies, tools, equipment, and contracted repairs.

Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Positive interactions with the engineers, lead engineers and director in preparing and planning projects.
-
Ability to request bids from outside vendors on construction projects and/or repair and maintenance to comply with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley.

Recommend hiring, training, termination and other disciplinary actions of facilities team members.

Direct Engineers in performing daily, routine, and preventative maintenance on all building and ground areas.

Respond to the service needs of other department requests and emergencies in a timely manner.

Develop and train Facilities Engineers, act as a mentor to Engineers in learning trade and maintenance skills.

Supervise the duties of team members and contractors in a safe manner and ensure all work meets city, state, and federal codes.

Have knowledge of work and safety procedures in the use of manual tools, power tools and other equipment.

Adhere to and assist in developing departmental procedures and policies, while maintaining customer service standards.

Possess necessary knowledge and expertise in completing assigned duties and use of accepted procedures and safety practices.

Be able to perform any other assigned work related tasks as requested by the Director of Facilities or General Manager.
BRING US YOUR BEST.:
- High school diploma/GED required.
-
Eight years maintenance experience with two (2) years of supervisory experience in facility based maintenance.
-
Degree related to facility engineering, local municipal license and/or multiple certificates in various crafts preferred.
-
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).

Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
-
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
-
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
-
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
-
Demonstrated intermediate level of competence in the areas of ambition, customer service, engagement, leadership, business reasoning and emotional intelligence.

Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.

Valid Driver’s license required.
