Information Security Analyst
Job Description
This individual would have experience and/or expertise in multiple cybersecurity subject matter areas:
- Working knowledge in some of the following topical areas : risk management, vendor security risk management, cybersecurity response and resilience, cloud security, data governance.

Familiarity with cybersecurity related frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), IS 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, PCI, NIST, SOX, FFIEC (GLBA). etc

Experience with cloud services and providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform

Incident management and response activities related to cybersecurity events
Key Accountabilities

Responsible for assessing governance and controls, IT operations, and management information systems to ensure the safety and soundness of these business areas

Conducts analysis and interpreting of cybersecurity threat intelligence to identify trends and emerging risks

Analyze and interpret information to establish priorities and perform testing to help estimate cybersecurity risk and potential impact to the safety and security of the organization
-
Prepares in written form research, analysis, and assessments for key internal stakeholders as needed or requested

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendors throughout the organization

Participates in knowledge sharing forums related to key cybersecurity risks and emerging issues

Familiarity with data management systems, including data loss prevention, data classification, etc

Develop recommendations and lead validation efforts to address identified issues

Performs other duties as assigned or requested

Action oriented, self-starting, and problem solving skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Intelligence or related field and 1+ years of related work experience required
Physical Demands and General Working Conditions
Traditional office environment: Employees typically sit most of the day, work with a computer and may answer/respond to phone calls
Physical movement consists of walking for meetings, breaks, etc. Ability to lift items weighing approximately 20 pounds on a limited basis is required
