Job Description :

The primary responsibility of the IT Network and Infrastructure Manager is to direct infrastructure operations including the management of infrastructure equipment, data centers, application administration, servers, databases, telecommunications, networks, enterprise systems, data storage, and data processing in on-premise and cloud provider environments. This position will also be responsible for all servers (P&V) as well as overseeing the security of operations.

A successful candidate must be able to wear many hats ranging from advanced troubleshooting to senior-level activities such as network design and implementing virtual server environment best practices. This position will require senior-level technical expertise to guide junior levels team members as well as the expertise to provide hands-on assistance when needed.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the day-to-day support of all production platforms to ensure the high availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the network, servers, storage, telecommunication services, and information.
  • Provides a secure, compliant, robust, reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure and directs infrastructure support strategy and operations.
  • Manages activities related to keeping the infrastructure performing optimally including backing up the systems, performance tuning, installing operating system upgrades and patches, implementing security and virus protection, and providing 24-hour monitoring and support.
  • Oversee the security of operations including intrusion, detection, and prevention solutions.
  • Maintain a disaster recovery plan for IT operations and production systems and coordinate responses to emergency production issues; resolve conflicting demands from users for service
  • Lead the process of establishing project scopes, cost-benefit analysis, building a project plan, and managing the project from cradle to grave.
  • Provide outage and crisis leadership with crisp, clear communication to stakeholders, vendors, and executive management.
  • Select, supervise, coach, and evaluate assigned staff. Establish work rules and performance standards, conduct and oversee performance evaluations and initiate and implement disciplinary actions as needed. Provide for the training and motivation of subordinates to make full use of individual capabilities and to meet changing system demands.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the IT field with at least 8 years of experience
  • At least 3 years of prior managerial experience
  • Proven and recent hands-on experience in roles such as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar
  • Cyber Security experience including certifications preferred
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to employees with a variety of skill sets, including executive leadership
  • Exceptional customer service is key to the success of this role
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to create written processes and procedures as well as technical documentation
  • Understanding of information systems in privacy and security issues, including standard practices for protecting systems
  • Prior experience with Sarbanes Oxley compliance is a plus
  • Ability to travel within the US, Canada, and Mexico
  • Evening and weekend on-call responsibilities
  • Position requires daily onsite presence
