Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager - II manages projects within a given IT domain/discipline. Incumbent is a self-starting individual with an aptitude for project tracking. Incumbent uses project management and business experience to keep projects moving forward. Individual partners with business and technical resources within their domain/discipline to implement positive change.
Incumbent is familiar with dynamic work environments with iterative planning and delivery cycles, ensuring quality throughout the project life. IT Project Manager - II helps execute solutions and adapts style to the business style of stakeholders and areas of the business. Individual builds positive, professional relationships, with domain/discipline.

Major Responsibilities:
- Leads small/medium sized projects from end to end while ensuring stakeholder alignment along the way

Learns product strategy for single domain/discipline

Learns business needs and is responsible for project execution

Tracks and measures project benefits

Participates in Best Practices Team of all the IT Project Managers in the organization

Develops and assists in presenting presentations to project team

Holds project team accountable for deliverables and dates

Works with other project managers and team members to identify problems (people, structures, processes and technology)

Engages and inspires others to commit to the work

Participates in celebrating successes and team member recognition

Reviews and summarizes others' feedback to improve the performance of the project team
Incumbent Attributes:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Information Technology/Computer Science) or its equivalent in a related field is typically preferred.

Years of experience: 2-4 years of related professional work experience may be preferred to complete all essential job functions.

Experience managing projects with budget of <$1M

PMI-PMP certification aspirations
