Job Title: Junior-Level .NET Developer

Reports to: Director of Technology

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary

Duties and responsibilities include building and maintaining functionality for our primary MVC web platform as well as integrating with each of our internal systems. Work with the rest of the development team to bring new features and functionality to fruition and aid the team to support these features. Work in an Agile environment to consistently produce quality code on time to meet any commitments.

  • Working on a mid-sized team to create new functionality using ASP.NET MVC/C#, ADO.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MS SQL Server
  • Develop and maintain SQL Queries and Stored Procedures
  • Apply updates to correct bugs in the existing application
  • Providing ongoing application support for technical requests and issues
  • Work closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, Designer, and SMEs in an Agile environment to develop new functionality and resolve existing issues in the system
  • Utilize version management tools
  • Other tasks and assignments as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years related software development experience and/or training.

Skills/Experience

  • Required: 1+ years of professional experience with ASP.NET MVC web applications written in C#
  • Required: Strong understanding of the data layer and T-SQL, Stored Procedures, etc.
  • Required: Experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS
  • Required: Strong troubleshooting abilities to get to the source of problems and think critically regarding possible solutions
  • Optional: Development of REST Services and .NET Core experience is a plus
  • Optional: T-SQL knowledge including writing and optimizing complex queries
  • Optional: Experience writing unit tests / TDD
  • Optional: Experience with microservice architecture is a plus
  • Optional: Full stack web development experience is a plus
  • Optional: Agile/Scrum environment experience
  • Optional: Experience working with TFS/Continuous Integration and Development is a plus
  • Optional: Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and keeping up on the latest best practices

Pay: $80,000.00 - $88,500.00 per year
