As a Manager within Macquarie Asset Management, with a focus on the infrastructure sector, you will source and evaluate potential infrastructure investment opportunities and work with senior executives on execution of such opportunities.


This includes performing detailed economic, financial, and market analysis and modelling of companies in sector; performing detailed economic, financial, and market analysis and modelling of existing investments; working directly with portfolio company management to oversee and directing execution of business plans for owned assets; working on potential sales and divestitures of owned assets at end of investment periods; reporting on investment performance to underlying limited partners; preparing investment presentations for investment committee; participate in industry and sector events, including conferences and expos; travel to existing or potential portfolio companies for site and facility visits; and manage and train junior analysts and associates.


To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics) and 3 years of experience in job offered or 3 years of investment banking experience with focus on the infrastructure sector.


Prior experience must also include 3 years participating in execution of investment opportunities, including performing transaction due diligence; 3 years evaluating new and existing investment opportunities, including performing detailed economic, financial, and market analysis and modelling; 3 years participating in management of assets, including working directly with portfolio company management to oversee and direct execution of business plans for owned assets and producing quarterly valuation reports; and 3 years preparing investment presentations.

Salary range for this position: $180,000 - $200,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
