The Portland Water District is seeking an experienced Network Administrator II with a solid background in Windows Server, Citrix technologies, networking and end user support.
Working under the direction of the Network Administrator III on the daily management of a multi-location Hyperconverged Microsoft Windows based WAN supporting roughly 180 end users utilizing the following technologies:
Microsoft Windows Server, Scale Computing Hyperconverged Virtualization, Citrix XenApp technologies, Ubiquiti switch gear, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Mitel VoIP.
Perform network diagnostics, preventative maintenance, system upgrades including keeping software up to date and patched. Responsible for verifying the integrity of the nightly, weekly and monthly systems backups. Review security related system summary logs and mitigates cyber related risks. Second level end user support. Occasionally provide end user training including new user orientation. Perform other Network Administrator II related duties as required.

Talks staff through a series of actions, either face to face of over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues. Requires travel between EGHC sites.
Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic. Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting. Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
Ensure warehouse is in compliance with all state and federal law (i.e. OSHA.). Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.
