AOT, Inc., the leading provider of pediatric, school-based services in southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work with preschool students starting at 3 days a week with growth in various preschool/daycare locations in Beaver County, PA. Pediatric experience preferred. Paid time for scheduling and travel! Excellent support from our Manager of Educational Therapy who is a skilled and passionate OT!

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant

  • Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
  • Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
  • Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, yearly IEP revisions; including updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
  • Some travel may be required throughout the school day

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited OT/OTA educational program.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant License
  • Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
