Roen Salvage Company is looking for a full time Office Assistant

Position is based in Sturgeon Bay, WI in recently renovated office space. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Calculate and process weekly payroll
• Receive and respond to payroll related inquires
• Process vendor invoicing via company software for payment processing
• Print and mail checks for approved payments
• Facilitate customer invoicing and collections
• Maintain office forms and procedures
• General administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and general errands
• Assisting office staff in a variety of projects
• Cross-training to support Office Manager including payroll taxes, tax reconciliation, and accounts payable forms

Qualifications:

• Accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and payroll processing experience is a plus but not required
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
• People oriented
• Computer savvy or able to learn computer functions
