Pharmacist Job Responsibilities:

· Dispenses medications by packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals.

· Services patient base by preparing prescriptions and monitoring patient medication therapies.

· Ability to review and interpret physician orders while being able to detect any insufficiencies, and being able to communicate with prescribing doctor with any concerns or questions.

· Responsible for monitoring drug therapies and control patient medication intake and advise on interventions.

· Provides Medication profile reviews and make recommendations appropriately.

· Maintains and completes pharmacy operational requirements, by directing pharmacy technicians’ workflow, verifying their prepared medications, and verifying order entries and charges.

· Consults healthcare professionals and patients on pharmacy related matters; this includes answering questions and fulfilling the needs of healthcare professionals and counseling patients on medication therapies.

· Complies with the rules and regulations upheld by the state board of pharmacy, state and federal drug laws, the DEA and the FDA.

· Keeps records of controlled substances and removes expired and damaged drugs from pharmacy inventory.

· Oversees all aspects of pharmacy workflow, and responsible for the outcomes of support personnel.

· Maintains a safe and clean work environment, by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

We are looking for someone that has a flexible schedule, and that can potentially be “on-call” in the future. Even though we do not need anyone “on-call” at the moment, we may need this in the future if client base is in need of it.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
