JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leading the product lifecycle and development of security initiatives for our Charter services and applications. Designs highly complex, cross-functional requirements to meet evolving customer needs and business opportunities. Involved in architecting innovative solutions to deliver an industry-leading customer experience. This position has a balanced mix of technical and business skills, and will often work with an enterprise architect for strategic direction.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Bring expert knowledge of security best practices in product development and translate appropriate steps for unique organization and market position.

Guide application security initiatives utilizing research, business case development, scoping, and all phases of the product development lifecycle.

Act as a specialist for key stakeholders on proper security development, hardening of systems, code scanning and vulnerability assessment and management.
Understand digital best practices in accessibility, usability, requirement writing, agile development, software product management, web analytics and product lifecycle management.

Define policies and procedures to minimize intrusions, malware events and vulnerability issues.
Diagnose highly complex issues and evaluate, recommend, and execute the best resolution.

Influence Charter's product set and advocate for excellence in all areas.

Evaluate proposed features and enhancements from the perspective of the digital user experience and make decisions in the best interest of the consumer.

Manage details of the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results.

Partner with key stakeholders in security, product, marketing and customer operations to implement strategy.
Ensure compliance with security standards, policies and procedures.
Act as a specialist for leadership on the technical and business risks of identified vulnerabilities by communicating security issues to a wide variety of internal and external departments to include technical teams, senior leadership, risk committees, and vendors.

Provide a data-centric perspective, using data as the driver and influencer of priority and measurements of success.

Define product goals and build the experiments to rapidly evaluate their success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Experience protecting against security vulnerabilities including the OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25
Familiarity with authentication and authorization technologies, including SAML and OAuth
Keep current with trends and technological innovations in the security industry to continually strengthen Charter’s stance against cybersecurity threats and theft of service.
Proven knowledge of ethical hacking and exploitation
Ability to adapt to a new environment and make an impact quickly
Ability to manage and foster change
Ability to influence large, cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results
Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently
Ability to drive multiple projects and tasks
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Ability to strategize solutions based on data analysis
Extensive foundation in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Extensive knowledge of digital SDLC tools such as JIRA
Demonstrates strong business sense and sense of urgency to achieve business results

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
