We are seeking a collaborative Project Manager who wants to work for one of “Utah’s Most Admired Companies.” The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of strategy through planning, transparency, collaboration, alignment, and accountability. They ensure visibility into the execution of project outcomes, and regularly and accurately report on project status and meeting outcomes. The Project Manager facilitates project success through the management of risks and cross-initiative dependencies and collaborates with delivery to ensure business readiness before product deployments.
Responsibilities
- The primary role of this position is to provide visibility and reporting for a designated workstream via project plans, status reports and metrics.
- In collaboration with a program manager, this role will partner with teams to identify work required to achieve project deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas and coordinate materials to document action items and follow-up ultimately leading to the resolution of project issues and development impediments
- Successfully track to project scope, identify and track scope changes and escalate to appropriate audience for issue resolution.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and delivery to track tasks and provide visibility into work as it moves through the product development process.
- Simultaneously manage multiple workstreams, within the Digital Portfolio.
- Ensure projects are organized, tracked, and reported effectively
- Ability to influence and manage the expectations of clients, team members, stakeholders, management, and external groups
- Build trust by cultivating relationships, executing with precision, and communicating effectively
Qualifications
- Are exceptionally organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
- Know how to navigate and resolve ambiguous situations well
- Build trust by cultivating relationships, executing with precision, and communicating effectively
- Understand and have experience with software development lifecycle in a product development framework.
- Possesses good judgment with respect to what is important and what is not, in driving towards outcomes
- Are naturally proactive, consistently seeking to improve how they accomplish their work
- Get things done while maintaining a focus on people and relationships
- Have proficiency in documenting, tracking, and following up on many simultaneous tasks
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Can collaborate well with others at all levels in the organization
- Have fluency in project management tools, online collaboration tools, and MS Office
Education & Years of Experience:
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
