About the role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced residential Renovation Project Manager. The Renovation Project Manager’s primary role is to manage and coordinate a large group of General Contractors and specialty tradesmen on scattered job sites to assure adherence to our specifications, quality of work, and timely delivery. An excellent Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind, great organizational skills, and be very comfortable in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage a high volume of residential home renovations
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
  • Cultivate and maintain an extensive contractor/vendor network capable of operating with the Imagine Homes ecosystem
  • Determine product placement and sequencing in coordination with Vendors and General Contractors
  • Oversight of general contractors, subcontractors, and their teams
  • Responsible for obtaining contractor estimates and bids
  • Ensure proper permits are obtained from appropriate local authorities

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of Project Management experience in Single Family Home Renovation or New Construction
  • Deep knowledge of general construction principles and techniques including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural elements
  • Knowledge of local contractors and subcontractors, and the ability to recruit them to work on our homes if needed
  • Great personality with strong ability to communicate well and gain trust and respect of others; stand by your word and own mistakes
  • Eagerness to join into an entrepreneurial setting at a fast-growing company
  • Comfortable communicating through a variety of technology-driven mediums, including email and other cloud-based systems
  • Knowledge of construction practices and local labor costs, plus knowledge of uses and costs of materials
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to evolving situations and priorities, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Assure safety/environmental standards are used and comply with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines
  • Solid understanding of local, state, and federal building code requirements
